Kimberly Keeton

Kimberly Keeton is a communications specialist with nearly 15 years of professional experience in the international development sector—starting in USAID project management and then specializing in strategic communications and outreach for a range of global nonprofit, United Nations, and research organizations. Kimberly’s sector experience includes health, agriculture, and nutrition with a geographic focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

At IFPRI since 2013, Kimberly first managed the communications portfolios for the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH) as well as IFPRI's Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division, before relocating to Malawi in 2017. Currently, she heads IFPRI Malawi's outreach activities, helping to package and disseminate research findings for a range of target audiences.

Kimberly earned a Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in strategic communication from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
