Rachel Gilbert

Rachel Gilbert is currently working with IFPRI as a Leland International Hunger Fellow. Rachel graduated from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University in 2017 with a M.Sc. in Agriculture, Food and Environment and a certificate in Water: Systems, Science and Society. During her time at Friedman, she worked as a research assistant at the Global Development and Environment Institute, in the Dietary Assessment Unit at the USDA Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Center, and as a teaching assistant. Prior to beginning the Master’s program, Rachel worked as a research assistant at the Small Planet Institute and with a small coffee company and social enterprise as an Environmental Educator in Cameroon.
