We are pleased to announce the second annual research symposium of the Economics Association of Malawi and are calling for abstract submissions. Following on the success of the inaugural event in 2014, the 2015 ECAMA Research Symposium will focus on “Agricultural transformation and value chain development for sustainable economic development”, bringing together local and international researchers, policy analysts and students to present their research on Malawi. Hosted by ECAMA with support from IFPRI’s and the Innovations for Poverty Action’s respective country offices, the event will be held in Lilongwe on June 4-5, 2015.
Preceding ECAMA’s annual conference that aims to promote proactive debate among stakeholders on pertinent economic issues in Malawi, the Research Symposium will further inform this debate by reviewing and synthesizing current evidence.
