On March 27, IFPRI will launch its 2019 Global Food Policy Report, which highlights the urgency of rural revitalization to address the crisis in rural areas.
The launch event in Washington, DC will include keynote addresses by Shenggen Fan, Director General, IFPRI and Achim Steiner, Administrator, United Nations Development Programme (video message) and a number of rapid-fire presentations. Participation is possible in-person or online. Further launch events are planned in eight countries around the globe.
The 2019 Global Food Policy Report is IFPRI’s flagship report that reviews the major food policy issues, developments, and decisions of 2018, and considers challenges and opportunities for 2019 at the global and regional levels.
