Anderson Benson is a Project Manager in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit at IFPRI's Malawi office. He supports the IFPRI team in managing complex data collection, analysis, and other research activities to inform development policy. His research interests are in development and agricultural economics. Before joining IFPRI, Anderson worked with Innovations for Poverty Action, Catholic Relief Services, and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, working on poverty, food security, social protection, gender, and landscape restoration projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from University of Rome Tor Vergata.
